CEOs Sleepless Night To Raise Funds and Awareness For Homeless
Some of Australias richest business people and CEOs found out firsthand what Sydneys homeless endure every night to increase awareness and funds for those in need.
With homelessness on the rise, City Mission in Sydney invited top business people to experience sleeping rough at Luna Park for a night. Celebrity Dick Smith explained, It's changed my way of thinking. I mean last night we had a piece of cardboard to lie on because it was raining, I was only under a bit of cover. I hardly had any sleep.
The night initially raised $500 000 in funds and support, and for the CEOs a new awareness of the plight of the citys homeless.
