Amnesty Secret Policeman’s Ball in Australia

Amnesty International together with Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle will stream the Secret Policeman’s Ball comedy gala into Sydney cinemas.
This year’s ball is rumoured to feature The Monty Python team (minus Eric Idle), The Goodies, Rowan Atkinson, Billy Connolly, Dawn French, Lenny Henry, Hugh Laurie, Ben Elton, Adrian Edmondson, Jennifer Saunders and a host of other hilarious comedians.
Kate Bush, Bob Geldof, Phil Collins, David Gilmour, Sting, Pete Townshend, U2 and Duran Duran are also said to be on the playing, but the gig list is a secret so you’ll have to watch to see who gets up.
The Amnesty International 2008 Secret Policeman’s Ball will be cinecast in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide, October 5.
